Funeral services for William Rial Chew were held Thursday, January 8, at 11 a,m. in the Vernal Eighth Ward Chapel.

William Chew was born July 12, 1898 in Axtel, Utah. He died January 5, in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Family prayer was given by Hank Peltier, Prelude and postlude music, Mary Schaefermeyer. A musical, "You'll Never Walk Alone", was sung by Dorothy Peltier, accompanied by Melba Eaton. Invocatione was given by Victor Wilkins, remarks, Bishop Gary B. Taylor, speaker, Joseph Haslem, Musical, "The Place Where I Worship", sung by Dorothy Peltier, accompanied by Melba Eaton, Speaker, Doug Chew. A duet, "Peace in the Valley" was sung by Daun White and Dorothy Peltier, accompanied by Melba Eaton. Benediction was given by Karl Migliori.

Dedication of the grave, Faron Wilkins.

Pallbearers were Donald I. Winkler, Hoyle Robinson, Leo R. Rooks, Dean W. Chew, Hank Peltier and Lee Wilkins.

Vernal Eighth Ward Relief Society was in charge of flowers.

Interment in the Vernal Memorial Park.
