Malinda died as an infant. Younger sister, Ella (Rohlfs) always recalled a vision she had that an Angel appeared at the foot of the bed, picked up Malinda and took her away. The family is sure Ella was right.

Infant Hans (1902-1903) also on the west face of the stone.
Stone has several names on the West, North and East sides; in addition, the name Sievert appears on the North side. Except for the "Sievert", the North, and East sides are very degraded. It appears there were more names on the South side, but they have totally eroded.
