W.B. Sullivan of McBee Dies

McBee, March 2 - (special) W. Bradford Sullivan,69,died late Saturday night following a few weeks of illness.

Funeral services will be held from the McBee Methodist church at 3:30 Monday afternoon,conducted by the Rev. Ralph J. Bigelow, pastor, and the Rev. Ervin Frye. Interment will take place in the McBee Cemetery.

Mr. Sullivan a Chesterfield County native,farmed until is retirement. He was first married to Susie J. Lynn who died in 1947.

Survivors include his widow,who before marriage was Bertha McKenzie Newman: nine daughters by former marriage, Mrs. E.E.Dicker and Mrs. J.J. Hinson of Rock Hill, Mrs. L. Johnson of Pageland, Mrs. J.O. Bunch of Hartsville, Mrs. R. E. Brewer and Mrs. John C. Clyburn of Lancaster, Mrs. Oneal Capps of Darlington, Misses Louise and Grace of McBee: five sons, Hazel, Edward,and Jay of McBee, Heral of Hartsville, Curtis of Hartsville: 27 grandchildren: 13 great-grandchildren: one brother, T.E. Sullivan of Boyton, VA.

The body will remain at his home in McBee.
