ROY- Roscoe Bradley, 78 of 5450 S. 2000 W., died Saturday at the Dee Hospital.
Mr. Bradley was born Oct. 4, 1889, in Moroni, Utah, a son of Amos and Lenora Reese Bradley.
He lived in Moroni until a young man and also lived in Shelley, Idaho, San Mateo, Calif., and the past year in Roy. He had been a machinist for the Union Pacific Railroad Co., and also worked in real estate managment.
On June 5, 1913, he was married to Effie Bates in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a member of the LDS Church and was a high priest. He had served as MIA superintendent and Elders Quorum secretary. He was a musician, and played in bands and orchestras.
Surviving are his widow, two sons and three daughters, Wendell R. Bradley, Roy; Robert Bradley, San Rafael, Calif.; Mrs. William (Delores) O'Driscoll, Mrs. George (Marian) McDonald, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. George (Grace) Williams, Portland Ore., 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one stepbrother and two stepsisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Hal G. Davis of the Riverdale Ward conducting.
Friends may call at the mortuary in Ogden Tuesday until services. Burial in Washington Heights Memorial Park.
