CORNWALL - Mildred C. Barnes, 81, formerly of Philadelphia, died Saturday in Cornwall Manor. She was a member of Old St. George's United Methodist Church of Philadelphia; a graduate of Temple University; committee member to create Cornwall Manor and the Manor Society; recipient of Cornwall Manor Founders Day award in 1988; and member and president of Women's Society of Christian Service. She was the widow of the Rev. John Barnes. Surviving are a daughter, Mildred Beane of Needham, Mass.; a brother, Edward Cramer of Coral Springs, Fla.; and four grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Levi Zerr Chapel, Cornwall Manor. Burial will be in Quentin Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.
