Thursday evening at 6 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Margaretha D. Dahl, nee Popp, at her home, 2006 Bowditch street. She was 80 years of age, death being due to senility. Mrs. Dahl was born in Germany May 17, 1826 and in 1856 was married to Claus Dahl who passed away in 1864. Mrs. Dahl came to Davenport and has resided here for the past 16 years with her son, John Dahl. Three sons survive her, John, Adolph and Fritz Dahl.
The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home with burial in the City cemetery.
