Funeral services for Harve Bacon, 84, were conducted Saturday, January 25, at the Zena Baptist church with the Rev. Curtis Coughran officiating.
Burial was in the Rolston cemetery.
He was born May 18, 1884, in Cassville, Barry County, Missouri to George Lawton and Mary Angeline Boswell Bacon.
He died Wednesay, January 22, 1969 in a Gravette hospital.
Mr. Bacon moved to Indian Territory, now Delaware county in 1900. He was a retired oil field worker. He was member of the Holiness church. He was married to Nettie Jones in 1967.
Other survivors include two brothers, Luman of Jay, and Lawton of Bartlesville and a sister, Mrs. Rilla Lyons of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
