CLARKSVILLE – Donald Gene Gamble, 76, of Greenville, formerly of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at Hunt Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Williams officiating. Burial is to be in Old Shamrock Cemetery.
The family receives friends an hour before service time at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 9, 1933, in Bagwell to Austin and Rosie Glass Gamble. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Double R Cowboy Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, John Henry Gamble and David Wayne Gamble.
Survivors include three sons, Terry Don Gamble of Amarillo, Alfredo Paez of San Antonio and Austin Gamble of Paris.
Serving as pallbearers are Warren Carter, Landon Baird, Vincent Smith, Johnny Gamble, Leon Smith, Sammy Myers, Brian Ramirez and Stuart Lewis.
