Perryville – Clarence Brown Briscoe, 89, of Parksville died today at Fort Logan Hospital Extended Care Unit, Stanford, after a long illness.
Born in Boyle County on Jan. 8, 1894, he was the son of the late Samuel Hocker and Margaret Bailey Briscoe. He was the widower of Ella Lane Briscoe. He was a retired farmer and a member of Sycamore Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin Brown Briscoe of Anaheim, Calif., and John Mitchell Briscoe of Perris, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilder and Funeral Home conducted by Larry Barker and Kelly Ellis. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery.
Visitation is at the funeral home arter 10 a.m. Tuesday
