John Kilmer A; resident of this
place passed away Wednesday, May,
18th at the Hudson hospital where
he was taken a few weeks' ago and
had undergone two operations since
there. He has been a sufferer for the
past few years, he also underwent an operation at the Albany hospital little
over a year ago. He bore all his
sufferings with the greatest patience
and everything that kind and willing
hands might do was done for him.
The funeral was held Saturday
from the home. Rev. Livingstone of
Johnsonville officiating. Burial in the
Rural cemetery. The survivors are
his wife, who was formerly Miss
Kate Hayes, and one daughter, Irene;
and three sons, Ralph of this place,
Wallace of Hudson, and Charles of
Pittsfield, besides two sisters, Mrs,
Peter Kelly, Mrs. Saulpaugh, both
of Red Hook, and two brothers, William
Of Pine Plains, and Charles of
Pittsfield, to whom sympathy is extended.
