All Elisha's family seems to be from Perry Co. TN. He was in the 1880 Scott Co. Missouri Census at the age of 26 and birth place AR. This info doesn't seem to be acurate because Elisha and wife both age 26, with wife's name as Wilson. They apparently didn't know her first name. If William Kane Rainbolt is his father, it is posible to have been born in AR because Wm Kane was a minsiter that moved around. It is said there is a letter in LDS Church that says David listed Elisha as Elisha Geard Rainbolt. Wm Kane did have a son Elisha age 8 born 1842 (E.M.W.) but no other listing of him in the 1850 or 1860 census.

It appears he returned to Perry Co. TN and was no longer heard of. His Wife married Solomon Perry Williams in Perry Co.. It is assumed he passed away in Perry Co. but burial place unknown.
