Mrs. Josie Bolinger of Route 5, Huntsville, died unexpectedly of a heart attack here Tuesday morning. Funeral arrangements, under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, were incomplete at press time.

Mrs. Josie Bolinger, 71, of Rt. 5, Huntsville in the Loy community died unexpectedly Jan. 8. Death was attributed to a heart attack as she was dead on arrival at the Madison County Hospital.

She was born April 30, 1891, in this county, the daughter of John H. Jones and Nancy Brashears Jones, and was the widow of James M. Bolinger who died in 1950.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Jewell Walden of Route 2, Huntsville, and Mrs. Gladys Dailey of Route 5, one son, Ewen Bolinger of Route 5, Huntsville; two brothers, Eli Jones of Huntsville and Jason Jones of Route 5; one sister, Mrs. Mellie Myers of Rt. 2, Huntsville; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Free Will Baptist Church here with Rev. Bruce Phillips and Rev. Noel Easterling conducting. Burial was in the Whorton Creek cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
