Mrs. Maria Fleischer, 84, died at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday at the home of her son, Samuel H. Fleischer, Toronto, Ohio, with whom she had made her home for the last five years. She had been ill several days.
She was born in Transylvania, Sept. 14, 1864. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and had lived in Salem for 48 years. Her husband, Samuel, died in August, 1945.
Surviving besides her son, Samuel, are two other sons, Joseph (Grace) and William (Winifred) of Cleveland and three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Mary) Zeck, Mrs. Simon (Minnie) Miller and Mrs. Michael (Elizabeth) Yunk, all of Salem; 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
