The funeral for Mildred Troutman Kemmerlin, 68, of Elloree, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, with Pastor Gene Ball officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg.
Mrs. Kemmerlin died Sept. 3 at Trident Hospital in Charleston.
Active pallbearers will be Patrick Kemmerlin, Brian Messervy, Luther Kemmerlin, Bruce Platt, George Griffith and Russell Wiles.
She was born April 8, 1935, in Orangeburg County, the daughter of the late Harry Troutman and the late Flossie Irick Troutman. She was a member of Santee Baptist Church and was retired from Elloree Garment. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Kemmerlin, and a son; Greg Kemmerlin.
Survivors are two sons; Gary Kemmerlin of Ridgeville; and Denny Kemmerlin of Virginia; two daughters, Ann Messervy of
Eutawville; and Tammy Platt of Roanoke, Va.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Troutman of Elloree; one sister, Barbara Ann Sweatman of Charleston.
Friends may call at the residence of Russell Wiles, 511 Pickett Level Road, Elloree, and at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in
Orangeburg.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
