Joseph Ralph Schwyhart, 81, 138 Wilpark Dr., Akron, formerly of Kimbolton, died at 7:30 a.m. today (Dec. 18, 1975) at Green Cross Hospital, Cuyahoga Falls, where he was a patient two weeks.

A retired enployee of both the State and County Highway Depts., Mr. Schwyhart was born May 29, 1894 at Kimbolton, the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth MArling Schwyhart, and was a member of Kimbolton United Methodist Church and Liberty Gange 2763. He was also a retired school bus driver.

Mr. Schwyhart leaves his wife, the former Lelia Kennedy, whom he married June 28, 1916; four daughters, Mrs. Roy (Bonnie) Yeich, Mogadore, Mrs. Leonard (Edna Mae) Ackley, Lake Geneva, Wis., Mrs. William (Elizabeth) Barnes, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Charles (Eileen) Gray, Tolleson, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. One brother and three sisters are deceased.

Friends may call at Thorn Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Services will be 1 p.m Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Moran officiating. Burial will be in in Northwood Cemetery.
