William Harley Gess, 74, lifetime resident of Boise, died Monday night at his home, 1504 North Fifteenth Street after a long illness. He was born Feb. 12, 1871, in Notus, and was a member of the Christian church in Boise.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine P, Gess; tow sons, Maj. J. P> Gess and Master Sgt. Thomas B Gess, both overseas; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Van Horne, Evanston, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie G. Slick, Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Louella Markt, Denver, Colorado, and two grandchildren, Robert H. Gess, West Point, N. Y., and Patricia R. Gess, Boise.
Schlieber and McCann's is in charge of arrangements.
