Dwight B. Chapman was listed at age 4 in Southampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, United States Census for the year 1880. Lyman H. Blake, pastor, Second Congregational Church, Westfield, Massachusetts, reported the marriage of Dwight B. Chapman, age 21, and Sarah H. Cunningham, age 21, in 1897. A stillborn child was recorded in December of 1899 with the death of 19-year-old Sarah following in January of 1900. That year Dwight appeared in the 1900 United States Census, widowed by age 23, on Russelville Road, Westfield, Massachusetts, in the household of his father. He was found again in the 1910 United States Census living on Russelville Road in Westfield, Massachusetts, between his brother Homer R. Chapman and their sister Mrs. Augusta Cunningham. Dwight registered for military service about 1917-1918. The 1940 United States Census indicated that he had been in New Britain, Connecticut, in 1935, but was back in Massachusetts with his sister's family on Russelville Road. His death was reported to me through email.
