RENSSELAER - Mrs. Bertha Bailey, 64, of 527 E. Vine St., died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Jasper County Hospital. She had been hospitalized 11 days. Born and educated in Magoffin County, Ky., she resided in Kentucky until moving to Jasper County in 1932. She was married in 1931 in Kentucky to Ollie Bailey, who preceded her in death. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Maudie) Hanaway of DeMotte, Mrs. Norman (Ethel Mae) O'Banion of New Carlisle, Mrs. Jack (Edna) Wright of Rensselaer, Mrs. Cleo (Susie) Mullins of Tefft, Mrs. John (Margaret) Frinkle of Medaryville, and Mrs. Thomas (Barbara) Coley of Rensselaer; four sons, Fred Bailey of Kouts, Grove and William Bailey, both of Rensselaer, and Ellis "Bud" Bailey of Wanatah. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Grace Conley, Mrs. Susie Howard and Mrs. Bennie (Pearl) Bailey, all of Kentucky, and Miss Dottie Conley of Michigan; and a brother, Perry Conley, of Kentucky.
