She was born December 8, 1948, in Fort Smith, the daughter of Laverne and Evelyn Marie (Herriman) Sanders of Fort Smith.
She was the former owner of Avanti Designs.
She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her parents of Fort Smith; husband, Rex; two sons, David of Fort Smith and Dale of Van Buren; three sisters, Judy Jane Resch of Cookson, Oklahoma, Margie Weese and Anita Hindmarsh, both of Fort Smith; and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Mount Olive Regular Church in Elkins.
Burial is at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Stone, Tommy Sanders, Brandon Croom, Terry Colie, David Hindmarsh and James Weese.
