BRENNEMAN, Katie - Passed away peacefully, on Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at the Maples Home for Seniors, Tavistock. Katie was born in East Zorra township 98 years ago, a daughter of the late Noah Roth and Lydia Bender. Beloved wife of the late Moses Brenneman who predeceased her in 1968. Dear mother of Ruby and husband John Gascho of Burlington, Hilda and husband Willis Swartzentruber of Tavistock, Verna and husband Gerald Bender of Innerkip, the late Ernie Brenneman (1977) and wife Betty Anne of Tavistock, Gerald Brenneman of London and Elva and husband Kenneth Erb of Brunner. She will be missed by her 22 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters-in-law, Edna Brenneman of Milverton and Majorie Hartleib of Belgrave. Katie was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by her five brothers, Simon, Ezra, Aaron, Josiah and Titus Roth and sister, Marion Ramseyer. Katie was a member of the Cassel Mennonite Church. Relatives and friends may call at the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St., N., Tavistock on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted from the East Zorra Mennonite Church, 16th Line, on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Jim Whitehead officiating. Interment in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cassel Mennonite Church
