A very special thank you to Teresa Gonzalez for her care and compassion. Ruby's family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses, volunteers, and staff at the Carpenter Hospice, where she received such exceptional care during the last three weeks of her life. Visitation will be held at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1010 Botanical Dr. (across from Bayview Cemetery, Crematory & Mausoleum), BURLINGTON (905.527.0405) on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Ruby's Life will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Knox Presbyterian Church (461 Elizabeth Street at James Street, Burlington), at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Carpenter Hospice or to the ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the Gascho family.
