TREMONTON, UTAH - Verl S. Anderson, 92, of Tremonton, died Tuesday, December 22,1998, at Bear River Care Center in Tremonton.

Verl was born September 22, 1906, in East Garland, the son of John T. and Maria (Robertson) Anderson. He married Eloise (Lois) Brough in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 29, 1937.

Verl was reared and educated in East Garland and graduated from Bear River High School. He made Tremonton his home.

Verl was a member of the LDS Church and served in various callings in the church including a mission to Australia, Sunday school teacher, Sunday School President, High Priest, and as a Seventy.

Survivors include his wife Eloise (Lois) of Tremonton; two daughters, Marilyn (Warren) Hickman of Denver, CO and Barbara (Jerry) Crawford of Granite Bay, CA; three sisters, Etta O'Hare and Grace Mohr, both of Sun City, C A, and Ruby
Anderson of Tremonton, UT; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters.Funeral services were held on December 28, 1998, at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home with Bishop Jim Anderson officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the
direction of Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home.

Interment in Garland Cemetery.
