Hans Thoen's first-born daughter, Gladys "Nina" L. Thoen [3/9/1886 - 3/26/1887] has a marked grave on block 225. Gladys died on March 26, 1887 and was buried [according to the original burial record] two days later, on March 28, on block 84 [not B4]. Block 84, known as the Lindquist block, had been purchased by Frank August Lindquist on January 10, 1885.

The F. A. Lindquist family lived right next door to the Lars Lagerwall family [Gladys' maternal-grandparents' family] on what is now known as Angel Hill in Taylors Falls. Since the Hans Thoen family did not yet have a family cemetery block in March 1887 when Gladys died, it seems logical that she was temporarily buried on the Lindquist block [84].

But just five weeks later [and with the coming of spring], on May 3, 1887, Hans Thoen purchased block 225. Since there is a grave marker for Gladys on block 225, it seems safe to assume that Gladys' remains were moved shortly after Hans Thoen purchased that block. That assumed move is not reflected in the cemetery's original burial records but much went unrecorded.

Since block 225 was purchased [apparently with an intent to use] by Mr. Thoen only five weeks after Gladys' death, it would not make sense to leave Gladys' body on block 84 but place a marker for her on block 225.
