CALDWELL – Harold H. Leap, 90, a retired field foreman for Gulf Oil Co., died Tuesday at the Leisure Center nursing home in Caldwell. He had been a resident of the Caldwell area for the past 14 years.
He was born May 18, 1895, in Labette County to Ernest and Della Leap. He was married to Minnie Clark on April 8, 1914, in Oswego. She died Oct. 21, 1983.
He was a member of the Bartlett Community Church and Masonic Lodge No. 73 of Chetopa.
Survivors include: a son, Harold of Blue Springs, Mo.; two daughters, Jane Kolarik of Caldwell and Ione Link of Chase; 12 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bartlett Community Church with the Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Creek Cemetery at Bartlett.
The Schaeffer-Reager Mortuary of Caldwell is in charge of arrangements.
