Funeral services for Anna Marie Stroh, 92, were held from Christ Lutheran Church on Saturday morning, Pastor Werner J. Fritz officiating. Burial was in the Odessa Cemetery under the direction of the Strate Funeral Home. Music at the service included a duet by Mrs. Gerals Schafer and Mrs. Ralph Heimbigner, with Mrs. Leo Stout at the organ.

Pallbearers were Dan Gettman, Rueben Fink, Ralph Heimbigner, William Schillinger, Albert Ramm and Sam Braun. Mrs. Stroh was born Nov. 8, 1870 in Russia, nee Anna Marie Seal. In 1890 she married Conrad Stroh Sr. and came with him to America in 1893. They located in Seattle for four years before coming to Odessa in 1897. Mr. Stroh died in Sept. 1961, after the couple had 71 years of married life, his age was 91. The family were among the early settlers here, and farmed for several years before retiring to a home in town. Advancing old age required that they enter the River Crest nursing home at Spokane, where death came. Survivors include one son, Conrad Stroh Jr., Odessa; 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
