Bertha Alice {Thornton} Godfrey, beloved wife of Fred Godfrey, in her 51st year.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, Elsie Florence, Eleanor Maud and Bernice Rose.
She was born in Toronto, Ontario, August 4, 1895 to Robert and Lucy {Binsted} Thornton. She married Fred Godfrey on February 19, 1919 in Toronto, Ontario.
She is survived by her husband and daughters Margaret and her husband Alex Ruelens, Jean and her husband Doug Baker, Florence, Ruth, Elizabeth, Mildred and sons Vernon and Duncan.

Cause Of Death: Massive Stroke.
