Edgar U. curl, 65, of 629 West Lincoln Way, Marshalltown, Iowa, was found dead at his home on Friday. Death was due to natural causes and the Medical Examiner placed the time of death as Tuesday.
He was born, April 7, 1918, at Cincinnati, Iowa, son of Walter and Zella {Preland} Curl. He spent his early life and received his education in Appanoose County and served for three year in the United States Army during WW11. He was married to Agnes Kinnaird, September 18, 1954, in Marshalltown, Iowa. She preceded him in death in 1982.
He was employed as a maintenance worker by the City of Marshalltown and by the Marshalltown Community College, before retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Marshall County Senior Citizens.
He is survived by three brothers, William Curl, of Montour, Iowa, Lloyd Curl, of Centerville, Iowa and Chester Curl, of Rogers, Arkansas and one sister Zella Wilson, of Moravia, Iowa.
