Mrs. Blanche Bilben Rites to be Today
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. today (Thursday), for Mrs. Blanche Bilben, who died Monday, June 11, 11 a. m. Rev. G. E. Martin of the Methodist church will conduct the services from Pfaff Chapel and burial will be in Woodville cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Charles Gray, James Gahler, George Clayton, Jerry Huntington and Wayne Halle.
Mrs. Bilben's death followed a long illness from cancer. She was born Dec. 19, 1887 and was 64 years of age. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Brisbane were members of the Brisbane family, pioneer settlers of Waseca county.
She was educated in the Waseca schools and Feb. 1, 1911 was united in marriage to Theodore Bilben of Waseca. Mr. Bilben was a railroad man and the couple always made this city their home. He preceded her to death.
Mrs. Bilben was a member of the Methodist church, of the Eastern Star, and the Rebekah lodge.
Surviving are five children, namely: Mrs. LeRoy (Marion) Heagerty, Waseca; Stanley, Waseca; Mrs. Campbell (Dorothy) Forbes; Ridgewood, N. J.; Warren, LaPorte, Minn.; and Mrs. Arlen (Harriet) Bartosch, Waterville. She also leaves three brothers, Frank and Arthur Brisbane, Waseca, and Wallace Brisbane, Mankato.
