Laura Ann Robertson 75, died Friday, September 10 at 1.10 p.m. at her home near Essex. Death was due to complications following a year's illness. She was a member of the Essex Methodist Church and the W.S.C.S.
Mrs. Robertson, daughter of Sheldon Matteson and Fannie Andrews Matteson was born November 5, 1872 in Jackson township. She was united in marriage to S. S. Robertson at Marysville, September 13, 1893. Mr. Robertson died in 1944.
Surviving are the following children: Clarence Robertson, Honor Michigan; Mrs. Martha Snowden, Route 1, Richwood; Sheldon Robertson, Delaware; and Mrs. Olidel Blue, Route1, Richwood; also 10 grand children and 4 great grandchildren. One brother and one sister preceded her in death. Another brother died in infancy.
Rev Clyde Parish conducted the funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Robertson residence. Interment in charged of Edgar Hastings was made in Price cemetery.
