During WWII, she worked on the LST and P47's and was very proud of her time working there.
She was a seamstress at Levinson's and retired from Strouse's and DeJongs.
Agnes was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir for many years.
She enjoyed bowling and had been a member of the same ladies bowling league for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Selton Phipps; sister, Helen York; and brother, Robert Phipps.
Agnes is survived by her sons, Dwight Muntzer (Yuthana) and Curt Muntzer (Deborah); daughters, Amy David and Suzanne Arrington; grandchildren, Lynn Copeland, Sarah Brown, Danielle Blevins, Joseph Muntzer, Jeramy David, Sarah Muntzer, Natalie David, and Rahmel Muntzer; great-grandchildren, Bailey Brown, Morgan Brown, Cecilia Blevins, and Nora Blevins; brother, Delimiel Phipps, Virgil Phipps; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009, at Alexander Memorial Park, officiated by the Rev. Walter Ullman with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the cemetery.
