Anna Langohr, 95, of Chester, died Jan. 19 at the home of her daughter, June Grace Langohr Pringle of Grasonville.

Born June 22, 1911, in the Aberdeen area of Baltimore County, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Stipek, Mrs. Langohr was reared in the Overlea area of Baltimore.

She worked as a governess in Park Heights, tending to small children. She later worked as a cook in the cafeteria at Loch Raven Elementary School for more than 10 years.

She was a member of the New Life Christian Outreach Church in Chester, the Homemakers of America and the American Association of Retired People.

On June 15, 1930, she married Charles Henry Langohr, who died in 1980. In addition to one daughter, surviving are another daughter, Shirley Anne Langohr Delosier of Halethorpe; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Henry, James and Helen Stipek and Mary Hurst.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 106 Shamrock Road, Chester. A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday at New Life Christian Outreach Church, 101 Country Day Lane, Chester, followed by burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Easton.
