Services were Friday, March 17 at the Arlington Community Church in Arlington for eleanor L. Waldron, 74 of Kearney and formerly of Arlington, who died March 14, 1995 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Rev. Lee Milligan officiated. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery with Order of Eastern Star services conducted by members of Sarepta Chapter No. 48 of Arlington.
Elanor L. Waldron was born August 18, 1920 in rural Missouri Valley, Iowa She grew up in Kennard and Arlington. She attended the Lincoln School of Commerce at Lincoln. She returned to Arlington and then lived at York, Nebraska and Humeston, Iowa until moving to Aurora, Nebraska where she raised her children. She later returned to live at Arlington before moving to Kearney in November, 1994. She was a member of Radiant Chapter No. 34 order of Eastern Star at Humesbn, Iowa. She married G. K."Kenny" Waldron January 21 1939 at Papillion. He preceded her in death August 22, 1962. She was also preceded in death by her father, Alfred J. Baker. She is survived by a son, David T. Waldron of Kearney; a daughter, Dianne L. Murray) Ross of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her mother, Cecil Baker of Fremont, brothers, Edward Baker of Arlington, and Alfred E. "Gene" Baker of Omaha; three grandchildren, Drue Waldron of Kearney and Donna Waldron of Lincoln and Heidi (Mrs. Ross) Barlow of Yukon, Oklahoma and two great grandchildren Trey Barlow and Rachel Barlow.
Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge of arrangments.
