Pauline A. Durgin, 92, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2009. She had been a resident of Seton Village in Waterville for the last 30 years followed by two years at Cedar Ridge Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Skowhegan.
She was born on May 4, 1916, in Madison, the daughter of the late Alden Adams and and Calla (Hayden) Adams Deschaine.
Mrs. Durgin was predeceased by her husband, Charles Durgin; a sister, Ruth Brooks Forrest; and her brother, Lawrence Adams.
She is survived by two daughters, Firle Hinckley of Bingham and L. Frances Stuart and her husband, Maynard, of Bingham; and a son, Terry L. Durgin and his wife, Peggy, of Oak Ridge, Tenn. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Avis Adams, of Oakland; six grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place in the spring at Robinson Memorial Cemetery in Moscow. (Morning Sentinel 2/14/2009)
