Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Dendy and Miss Fredricka Dendy attended final rites Wednesday afternoon at Midway Baptist Church for their uncle, James Alfred Rish of Houston. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. F. Hartley, a former pastor and long-time friend.

Burial was in Houston Cemetery with Houston Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Rish, who was 82, died at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon at a hospital in Oxford shortly after suffering a heart attack. He was a Chickasaw County landowner and a retired farmer.

Mr. Rish leaves three daughters, Mrs. Hilda Young of Grenada, Mrs. Margaret Tatum of Oxford and Mrs. Kate Rogers of Newport, Ark.; two sons, Jasper Rish and Sam Rish, both of Houston; 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
