Abraham Spires, age 74, died at his home on 12th and Monroe street, yesterday afternoon at 4 oclock following a stroke of apoplexy. Mr. Spires has been ill for some time and his death was not unexpected. He leaves a widow and two stepsons, Robert Massengale and Charles Faris.
He was a member of the Lincoln church of Christ, from which place the funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 oclock in charge of Elder Raines. Pallbearers will be Roscoe McMillan, Lawrence Butcher, Carl Riddle, Robert Johnson, Estel Wilson and Homer Harding. Interment will be at the Knights Ridge cemetery.
