Mrs. Martha V. Teaney, in her 82nd year, died at her home in Carlinville on Tuesday, April 9. She was born in the Fayette vicinity in 1853 and was married to John Teaney in 1874 and they spent the greater part of their married life in Otterville in Jersey County. Her husband died in 1912, she having spent the last ten years in Carlinville. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. F. C. Anderson, of Chicago and a half sister, Mrs. Ira A. Wooley, of Carlinville. Her body was brought to this city yesterday afternoon and given interment in the Oakwood Cemetery.
