Laura Lee SHEETS, 75, of 501 W. Third St., died at 6 a.m. Saturday at her home. She had been in failing health for two years.
She was born Sept. 3, 1911 in Fulton County to Pete and Grace MILLER CAMPBELL. She was a lifetime county resident. On June 18, 1942 in Argos she married Arthur T. SHEETS, who died Aug. 28, 1968. She retired from Topps Manufacturing in 1984 following 40 years of service.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Joyce) SMILEY, Rochester; two grandsons, Marc and John [SMILEY], both of Rochester; a sister, Mrs. Lois OVERMYER, Logansport, and a brother, Edward [CAMPBELL], Rochester.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Donald MAUGHAN officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until services. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society or other charity.
