Ron Guzman May 6, 1932 - May 24, 2007; Resident of Brentwood, Ronald James Guzman, 75, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away May 24th after suffering a massive stroke. Ron leaves behind wife of 51 years, Harriet, son Michael Guzman, son Steven Guzman, daughter Elizabeth Silva and grandchildren Sean, Kaitlyn, Shelby, and Lexie. Ron was born in St. Louis Missouri, raised children in Newark, California and moved to the Summerset retirement community in 2003. Since Ron did not like being an idle retiree, he worked part-time at the Brentwood Press and enjoyed a few rounds of golf every week. Ron was a Korean War Navy Veteran and a very proud American. Ron was a loving father, grandfather, and husband whose #1 priority was family. The family reflects on his strong traditional values and religious commitment. He was a hard working, generous, caring man who will be missed by all people in his life. A celebration of Ron's life will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Brentwood on June 5th, at 11am.
