The funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Lilly, wife of J.A. Lilly, were held at the home southeast of Tipton, Monday afternoon. Many friends and relatives attended. The pall bearers were four of her sons: James, Nelson, Walter and Mount Lilly, a son-in-law, Omer Sloan, and a grandson, Carl Sloan. A fifth son, Burl, remained with the father, who is very infirm.
Nancy, daughter of Joseph and Nancy (Wilson) Porter, was married December 23, 1883.
Following the service, with Rev. L.R.Gray officiating, friends and relatives accompanied the body to its final resting place.
