Mr. Orwick died Tuesday evening, November 25, 1986, in Perrysburg. His death was ruled an accidental drowning by Wood County Coroner Dr. Roger Peatee. His body was found in the Maumee River.
He was born February 24, 1942, in Findlay to Robert and Rosemary (Ellis) Orwick. Both parents survive in Forest. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Bame, and she survives in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sherri L. and Vicki S., both at home; three brothers, Thomas, of Elsworth Air Force Base, S.D., John of Hillard; James of Findlay; and a grandmother, Mrs. Amanda Orwick, Arlington, Ohio.
Since 1977 Mr. Orwick had been the data processing manager of Bowling Green State University's computer center. He was the deacon of finance at Grace Brethren Church, Bowling Green, Ohio.
