Mrs. Martha Agnes Williams of and Cobden was born Jan. 6, 1913, at Cobden, the daughter' of Warren Chase and Mary Agnes Patterson Whelpley.
She died at 11:27 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28,1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was married to Roy Glenn "Jack" Williams on Nov. 15, 1936, at Cobden.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Jack Williams of Cobden, a daughter, Martha Jean Ferrill of Marquette, Mich.; a brother, Henry Whelpley of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Jeanette Anderson of Goreville; three grandchildren, Mitchell Glenn Ferrill of Little Meadows, Pa., Mary Ferrill of Salida, Calif., and Margaret WilIiams of Lincoln, Neb.; and a great-grandchild, Dillon Joel Williams.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cobden where she served as church organist for many years, a member of the Cobden Eastern Star Chapter for over 50 years, and a member of the Anna Eastern Star Chapter.
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Agnes Williams were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 1994, at the First Presbyterian Church in Cobden with theRev. Richard Ryman officiating.
Interment was in Cobden Cemetery. Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home of Cobden was in charge of arrangements
