Grace Elaine Brister Godfrey, 72, of Moss Point, MS was born on September 1, 1937 in Meadville, MS and died November 17, 2009 in Singing River Hospital. She was employed as a legal assistant in Pascagoula, MS for 38 years and was self-employed as President of Marine Chemist Services, Inc. at the time of her death. She lived in the Pascagoula/Moss Point area since the age of 2. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Shelby Brister and Bonnie Brister. Survivors include her husband, John Peter Godfrey, Sr.; Four Daughters, Jackie Lentini of New Orleans, LA, Pamela Cali of New Orleans, La, Angela (Henry) Molenaar of Houston, TX and Tara (Daniel) Claffey of Hurley, MS; Two Sons John P. Godfrey, Jr. of Pascagoula and Scott (Susan) Godfrey of St. Augustine, FL; Twelve grandchildren, Blake Breaux, Kasey Lentini, Kelli Lentini, Lauren Godfrey, Cassidy Cali, Matthew Molenaar, Jaclyn Molenaar, Jack Godfrey, George Godfrey, Joseph Claffey, Jonathan "Jack" Claffey and Connor Claffey. She is also survived by her siblings: Jane (Ken) Farragut of Flourtown, PA, Shirley (Charles) Coakley of Pascagoula, MS, Eddie (Sylvia) Brister of Pascagoula, MS, Thurman H. "Bill" Brister of Gautier, MS Jack Brister of Buras, LA and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 9am until the 11am service in the chapel of Holder-Wells funeral home. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery.
