Vera Elizabeth Holland Altheser if Fulton, died Tuesday, February 28, 1995 at the Fulton Manor Care Center. She was 89.

Mrs. Althiser was born February 1, 1906, a daughter of Walker Kee and Alta (Coats) Holland. She married Roy M. Althiser on June 9, 1927. He preceeded her in death on January 28, 1981.

She was a member of the Church of God Holiness in Fulton where she taught Sunday School for many years.

Survivors include three children, Lloyd (Illa) Althiser of Fulton, Gary (Linda) Althiser of Fulton, Lois (Ross)Richardson of Aurora, Colorado, six grandchildren, Cathy, Cristy, Connie, Danny, Tim and Tammy, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, four brothers, Charley Holland, Fay Holland, Isham Holland and H.W. Holland, all of Fulton and one sister, Martha Laubscher of Fulton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceeded in death by two brothers, Walker Kee Holland Jr. and Clyde Holland and one sister, May Krebs.

Services were conducted Thursday at the Church of God Holiness, Fulton, with Reverend .G. Garrett and Reverend Bobby Clouse officiating. Burial was in Callaway Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions were suggested to the Church of God Holiness, 305 East 2nd Street.
