Ruth Purdum, 89, was a daughter of August E. and Minnie Baehler Ehlers. She married Clarence L. Purdum on April 5, 1942 in Piper City, Illinois. He died Nov. 5, 1955.
Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn (Jim) Rossol, one sister, Vera Hawthorne, one granddaughter and a sister-in-law, Margaret Ehlers.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Glenn L. and Raymond E. Ehlers.
