Mrs. Emma Oberlin Died In Plymouth Hospital
Mrs. Emma Matilda Oberlin, age 85, widow of Samuel Oberlin, Civil war veteran, died at the Morris hospital in Plymouth on Monday morning. She had been in poor health for about two years and had been in the hospital for six months.
She was born in Marshall county near Culver and had lived most of her life in Starke county. She was a member of the Little Brick church in Ora.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Louisa Rock of Monterey; and a brother, Herman Rank of Monterey.
Funeral services will be held in the Little Brick church in Ora at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon with Rev. Charles Mallott of Leiters Ford in charge. Burial will be at the Center cemetery, North Bend township, Starke county. Friends may call at her home in Ora.
