A Good Woman Gone
On April the 5th the Death Angel visited the home of C D Dendy and claimed as his own Mrs. Addie L Dendy. She was born Nov. 14, 1879. She was married to C D Dendy, 27 years ago. To this union were born three children, Mrs. Mary Morris, Miss Mary Lou and Mr. Jim Tom. She joined the Baptist church when she was nine years old, and has always lived a devoted Christian life.
Mrs. Dendy was a woman who was always ready to assist her friends in any way she could. It was a pleasure to be in her home.
She was buried at Bethel church, her old home church, April the 7th. Rev. W C Stewart conducted the funeral service, in the presence of a large crowd.
We want to say to her loved ones, weep not for her, for she is at rest with Jesus.
