William C. Kennedy, 78, a long time resident of the Aurora/Naperville area died Monday, January 27, 2003 at ManorCare in Naperville, IL. He was born February 5, 1924 in Trowbridge, Il and had worked for 35 years in the Naperville and Oswego areas for P.A.G. and Agrinetics.

Mr. Kennedy served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with the 17th Airborne Division in Europe.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Bickle of Naperville, IL, Doug (Shelly) Kennedy of Florence, TX, Teresa (Steve) Greer of Lebanon, OH, Carl (Bobbi) Kennedy of Montgomery, IL and Jon (Cindy) Kennedy of Aurora, IL; one sister, Ruby Steele of Mattoon, IL; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Marion and Grace (nee Storm) Kennedy; one brother, Wilmer Pruett; and by three sisters, Evelyn Price, Susie Latch and Helen Hutton-Campbell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL. Interment private. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2003 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
