The deceased was a very brilliant young man, nearly 23 years old. He had been a pious and devoted Christian and Baptist ever since he was about twelve years old. To know him was to love him. He had a host of friends. He died in the full triumphs of faith. His funeral was very largely attended. J. N. Kidd, Pastor
