Seneca, Mo., Four members of the Monroe Family passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the home of Dan and Gay Monroe.
All were Jehovah's Witnesses. Gay was a full time Bible minister. Daniel "Dan" Eugene Monroe, age 71,
of Seneca was born May 17, 1936 in Hudson, Michigan to the late Charles P. and Anna M. (Hoyt) Monroe.
Barbara Gay Monroe, age 64 of Seneca was born August 11, 1943 in Porter, Oklahoma to the late Olen O.
and Ada Jane (Parker) Drain. They were married December 5, 1960 in Sapulpa, Ok. Together they have seven children.
Dan and Gay are survived by their remaining children, Daniel Monroe of Seneca, Donna Gay Kemm of St. Louis, Mo.,
Nancy Schiller of Cookeville, Tn, Jeremy Monroe and Ben Monroe both of Stark City, Mo.
They are also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Dan is also survived by two brothers, David "Hoot" Monroe of Bixby, Ok and James Monroe of Ketchum, Ok;
and one sister, Sarah VanWinkle of Peru, Ok. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Bill Moore and one brother.
Barbara is also survived by two brothers, Lloyd Drain of Wagoner, Ok. and Arzie Drain of Lebanon, Ok.; three sisters
, Ona "Betty" Chadwick of Sulpher, Ok, Ada Jane Seefried of Bullhead City, Az., and Katy Lynn Bucher of Lake Stevens,
Wa. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
Jeffrey Paul Monroe, age 41 of Seneca was born September 23, 1966 in Tulsa, Ok. Jeff is survived by one son,
Taylor Monroe of Tulsa, Ok.
Terrence Joseph "Joe" Monroe, age 37 of Little Rock Ar. was born June 23, 1970 in Tulsa, Ok. Joe married Paula on
October 16, 1993 in Little Rock, Ar. He is survived by Paula and their daughter Josie Monroe of Little Rock.
