Mrs. Goldie Curtiss
Newton--The funeral for Mrs. Goldie Curtiss, 85, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Grubb-Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, the Rev. John Kejr officiating. Burial will be in the Ellsworth Cemetery.
Mrs. Curtiss died Friday at the Salina Nursing Center.
She was born Goldie Kalb, October 31, 1896 at Ellsworth. She married Fred Curtiss in 1914 at Salina. She had been a Salina resident since 1974.
She was a member of the Ellsworth Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution of Newton.
Surviving are a sister, Susan Ranker, Ellsworth; a niece, Clara Smith, Lindsborg, and a great-niece, Ellen Disney, Salina.
The family suggests memorials to the church.
